WHO WE ARE
The operator of this site.

WHAT WE COLLECT
Only what you type in, and standard server logs.
There are three places on this site where you can give us information. In each case we receive exactly what you entered, and nothing you did not.
The template request. The short form that sends you the AI use policy template asks for your work email. It also offers an optional field for your mobile number, with a box you can tick if you would like us to follow up by text. Leave both blank and we simply email you the template.
The Private Practice application. If you submit it, we receive:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your company and your role
- Your mobile number, if you chose to give it, and whether you ticked the box agreeing to text messages
- How often you currently use AI
- Your two written answers about your work and your reasons for applying
- Your confirmation that you understand the scope of the engagement
The chat widget. If you open the chat in the corner of the page and type into it, we receive what you type, along with any name, email, or phone number you choose to give it.
Each form also records the page address you submitted from and the arrival note described below: the campaign tags on the link that first brought you here, the referring site, and the page you landed on. That is used to tell us which outreach a given submission came from. If you tick the text-message box, we also record the wording you agreed to, the time, and the page, so that we can show consent was given if we are ever asked to.
Separately, our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs, which include IP addresses and browser user-agent strings, for security and abuse prevention. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
What we measure, and what we never touch.
Stated plainly, so you can check it:
- What gets stored in your browser. The chat widget keeps a session identifier and a note of how you arrived, in local storage, so a conversation can continue from page to page. The site keeps one more note in local storage for 90 days: how you first arrived here (the campaign tags on the link, the site that referred you, and the page you landed on), so that if you later fill in a form we know which outreach brought you. It holds nothing that identifies you. Microsoft Clarity, described in the next point, sets its own cookies so it can recognize a returning browser and group the pages of one visit together. Nothing is stored for advertising.
- We study pages, not people. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits in aggregate and sets no cookies. Microsoft Clarity shows us how a page is actually used: where people scroll, what they click, and a replay of a visit moving through the layout, so we can find the parts of a page that do not work and fix them. Every form on this site is masked, so your name, email, company, phone number and anything you write in an application are hidden from those replays and never reach Clarity. What stays visible is our own published page copy. We use this to improve the pages and for nothing else. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no Meta pixel, and no advertising use of any of it. Microsoft sets out what Clarity collects in its privacy disclosure.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. That includes your mobile number and your text-message consent, which are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- We do not use what you send us to train AI models.
If that changes, this page changes first.
TEXT MESSAGES
Only to follow up on something you sent us.
If you give us your mobile number and tick the consent box on one of our forms, we may text you to follow up on that submission: to confirm we received it, to answer a question, or to arrange a conversation. That is the only reason we collect a mobile number. We do not run a text-message marketing list from this site.
Message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply under your carrier plan. Reply STOP to any message and the texts end. Reply HELP for help, or email doc@chrisdaigle.com. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of any purchase or engagement.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never sold, rented, or shared with any third party. The one exception is the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf, GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) and its carrier partners, which may process your number solely to send the messages you agreed to.
When you tick the box, we record the wording you agreed to, the time, and the page it was on. If you reply STOP, we keep only the record that you opted out, so that we never text that number again.
WHO ELSE SEES IT
Three service providers, each doing one job.
We use a small number of vendors to run the site and handle applications. They may process your information only to provide their service to us:
- Cloudflare. Hosts this website and serves its pages. Handles server logs, network security, and the cookieless page counts described above.
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector). Receives what you submit through our forms and the chat widget, stores it as a contact record in our customer system, sends the template and the short email series that comes with it, and delivers any text messages you agreed to.
- Google Workspace. Delivers and stores the email notification of your submission, and any correspondence that follows.
One more thing you should know: this site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That means Google receives your IP address when a page loads, in the same way it would for any site using that service. We use it only to render type.
The speaker reel on the Speaking page is hosted on YouTube. Nothing is requested from Google until you press play. If you do press play, YouTube receives your IP address and may set cookies, exactly as it would on youtube.com. We use their privacy-enhanced player, which limits that to what playback requires. If you never press play, YouTube never hears from your browser.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
HOW WE PROTECT IT
Encrypted in transit, and held by vendors with their own locks.
Everything you send us travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We do not run servers or databases of our own; your information lives in the systems of the vendors named above, each of which encrypts data at rest, restricts staff access, and publishes its own security practices.
On our side, access is limited to the people who run the business and need it to respond to you. We keep only what the sections above describe, for only as long as they say.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If we ever learn that your information has been exposed, we will tell you promptly and say what happened.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
As long as the conversation is live, and then some.
If you apply and we work together, we keep your records for as long as our business relationship lasts and for the period afterward that our tax and legal obligations require.
If you apply and we do not work together, we keep the application so we know we have already spoken. You can ask us to delete it at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
If you request the template, we keep your email so we can send it and the short series that follows. Unsubscribe and we keep only the record that you did.
Mobile numbers and text-message consent records are kept for as long as we might text you, plus the period needed to show consent was given if a carrier asks. Reply STOP and we keep only the opt-out.
Server logs are retained on our provider’s standard schedule, which is measured in days, not years.
YOUR CHOICES
Ask, and we will act on it.
You may ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to doc@chrisdaigle.com and we will respond within thirty days.
If we email you and you would rather we did not, say so in a reply and we will stop. Every message in the template email series carries an unsubscribe link, and using it ends the series at once. If we text you, reply STOP and the texts end.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We will honor those requests regardless of where you are, because it is simpler and fairer than checking.
THE REST
Children, changes, and how to reach a human.
Children. This site is meant for business executives. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes. If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
Governing law. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
